Community Prevention & Educational Events

Donations Needed
The Wall Township Community Relations / Alliance Committee now has 2 clothing bins located at the Wall Township Recycling Center off of Atlantic Avenue and Tilton's Corner Road. The proceeds from the clothing bins, which are maintained by the Read Foundation, will go toward projects related to drug and alcohol awareness in Wall Township.

The next project that will be funded by the proceeds is the Drug and Alcohol Awareness Poster Contest, which is held for the 4th grades in all the elementary schools in Wall Township. The monies will pay for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for each school.

Additionally, the Community Relations / Alliance Committee coordinates the alcohol and drug free Project Graduation for the Wall High School. The Committee, which is comprised of volunteers from within the community and is primarily funded by grants and donations, urges all residents to please utilize the clothing bins located at the recycling center.

If you have any questions or would like to volunteer to help with Project Graduation, please telephone Kristin Meyler, Alliance Coordinator, 732-820-4792.
